What tha Fiat?

I have a 97 and a 95 jeep... the 2014 cherokee is a fiat... Seems fair enough to me.

Welcome to 2011.

I've got bad news for you: Obama wins the election next year.
Next year is 2015, he doesn't win again till 2016...

OBAMA’S UAW BAILOUT CONTINUES TO SCREW AMERICA
just like everything the moron and his minions have touched. BTW, ANOTHER Romney claim that has been proven right.

EXCERPT: “At the beginning of 2014, Detroit may be bankrupt, but they’re cheering the five-year-old U.S. auto bailout in Italy. That’s because after being the beneficiary of billions in U.S. taxpayer largesse, Fiat, the leading Italian auto company, is going to buy its final stake in Chrysler from that other big bailout recipient, the United Auto Workers (UAW).

“Chrysler’s Now Fully an Italian Auto Company,” reads the Time magazine online headline. But wait a minute! Wasn’t the bailout supposed to be about saving the American auto industry? (Rhetorical question but in reality the answer is: No, it was to repay the UAW goons for ballot box stuffing, threatening GOP volunteers, raising the dead to vote again and again, and trucking in the illegal aliens to vote.)

As Mark Beatty and wrote in The Daily Caller in November 2012, after presidential candidate Mitt Romney made the controversial claim that Fiat would be expanding production of Chrysler’s Jeep in China (a claim that turned out to be correct).”

And the article nails the crux of the entire issue.

EXCERPT: “In “saving” the American auto industry, Obama gave an American company away. And he gave it away at the expense of pension funds and other secured creditors, which were given a much smaller stake in the new company than they would have been given under traditional bankruptcy proceedings. American manufacturing workers also lost out on the deal; many are now hostages to the woes of Fiat and the Italian economy.”

Obama, like VD, the gift that keeps on giving.

You didn't get the joke.

And it's not funny anymore if I have to draw you a picture.
I got your joke, you didn't get mine :flipoff2: (because it may not be a joke :()

2nd President in history to run 3 terms! lol

"Redesigning the Wrangler would be the riskiest thing (we) could do."

http://www.allpar.com/news/index.php/2014/01/sergio-wrangler-and-alfa

There have been debates over the knockdown windshield and removable door. “I don’t know how many people who own Wranglers have ever done that.” Still, Jeep can’t remove those attributes, even though the vehicle must be lightened and the powertrain must be updated. “You can update it, but you can’t change it.”

I love what they are doing at Fiat. Jeep is getting a much larger presence overseas looking to break the million vehicle per year mark.

The Cherokee is a great product on an Alfa Romeo chassis with a transfer case. It might not be your cup of tea but I got a feeling is going to outsell the compass, patriot and liberty combined.

The next Wrangler is going to be unibody and IFS.

You heard it here first.

I'll hold you to it. I say no way in hell.

It will be lighter, diesel, with more creature comforts, but solid axles till the wrangler moniker dies. Maybe they'll do a deal with King shocks for more comfort:)

If fiat was smart they'd buy up some of these aftermarket suppliers.
