I just bought a new trail rig and it has 37 13 15 boggers that have great tread but I have never ran boggers have always had tsls on my rigs and wanted to see what info you guys may have on what to do. Keep the boggers or trade out for some tsls. This rig is a bronco 2 with a efi302 and has dana 44 front and 8.8 rear with 4.10 gears just want to see what everyone thinks.

I guess I will say it before someone else does, need more information what type of trail riding do you like is it primarly mud or do you do rock crawling or both.

It will make a big difference in the type of tire you should run.

sorry it will be a trail rig so no mud

i know a bogger is great in mud. are you driving it to the trail?. trailer?.

also i dont like the sounds boggers make on Rocks lol.. id go with tsl's.

Groove the boggers & run the hell out of them.

Anything that will remove rubber, you're about to get a lot of smartass responses.....a tire groover would be best though, they can be expensive for a good one.

looks like just a little slip and boom no more tire and the other way looks to take days to get anything done. Do the boggers not work the way they are?

I've only run them once (borrowed! :flipoff2:) and they did killer! There were a couple times the rearend slid down slope on a sidehill that puckered me pretty good, but overall they the did good in the water, mud, & general dirt trails... even at 20# (first & only trip out with NO spare) & open diffs.

Also, I've heard a few say romping them in the rocks.... slip-then-grab (on a Bogger lug) will shock driveline components & bring the suckage.

IMO, find a grooving iron to borrow/rent and go to town... not as hard as your making it out to be!

This is how I grooved mine. No problems sidehilling and at 7psi they flexed awesome.

4" grinder with a grinding wheel. :smokin: :D Lost of smoke but who doesn't like the smell of burning rubber.
