What to do about tires hitting control arms?

So I put on some 33x12.5 TSLs on my 98 TJ that has about 4" of lift. The front is a stock D30 and the rear is a 8.8. At full lock the front tires are contacting the front lower control arms. What should I do, wheel spacers, adjust steering stops, or??

Wheel spacers. Make sure to torque the spacers correctly and use lock tight.

Or another set of wheels with more offset. I personally like my junk being wide it makes it nice and stable. Before my full width swap I had 4.5" back spaced wheels with 1.25" spacers. Super stable and gave it a nice stance. Now with the 44/9 I'm only about 2" wider than I was.

Back spacing is 4" or 4.5" if I remember correctly

Thanks JC, I couldn't remember

A wheel with 3.75" - 4.0" shouldn't be rubbing...4.5" may or may not depending on the tread pattern/side lugs.

The outer lugs on the TSLs are grabbing the lower control arms pretty good and this is just on the road.

Would a 2" BS wheel be the way to go?

I am going to add a washer or two to the steering stops first and see if that fixes my issue.

Sounds smart, plus you may not need 2" spacers anyway. You could try some washers on the wheel studs behind the wheel, for test purposes, to see if 1/2" or so would do the trick.

Or try the 1/4" spacers that advance sells, if your lug studs are long enough.

Clay i have some of the 1/4 spacers you can have if want to try them...
