Help! I am a Stang Banger with a 4x4. Just got a '90 Bronco II, and don't know where to start. It's all stock at the moment. No huge plans right away, just want to make it more aggressive. Want to keep it so I can drive to the beach and some off road. Would like 30 or 31's and plan on a 4 inch suspension lift. Just not sure if I need to do the lift 1st, or tires. If I do 31's will I need to upgrade rims? Feel kinda backwards. I'm used to LOWERING CARS, not LIFTING TRUCKS. Thanks for any input and patience with an old newbie.

31x10.50 bfg ats on stock rims and no lift and that thing will go anywhere!

Now just gotta find somewhere to test this thing out. :)

Anyone have a 5 speed from a Ranger or Explorer 4.0 for sale?

If you are going to lift it though, from experience tires and lift should be done at the same time. Reason being is trust me when that lift goes on you gonna wanna go play, and with stockish tires it's not as much fun. But if you what you want can be done on no lift then do that. Lift and tires are gonna cost you plus everything will break sooner later which just cost more. $x$ just remember that.

The breaking part sounds just like my mustang habit, so I'll be used to that. Lol. Thanks for the info in the rest as well. Got some used 31s on it for now. So I guess lift and whatever size tires I can stuff under it will happen after Christmas.
