My current situation.
Im locked and loaded..coolers full of food. Camping gear packed. Brolite truck on kill mode. West Sunbury PA on the Tom Tom, and she's spitting directions!
I've stopped at my father's house for a visit, which is where I'm supposed to be meeting up with my co dog Bobby.
He just called and now, he can not go.

Ok..

Supposed to rain in PA any way.
Long trip...by myself. ( totally doable tho)
According to facebooks, it looks like only 4 other trucks were planning to show up and race anyway. (Dissapointing turn out for an 8 hr drive)

What to do?

I could head home, unload the brolite, load up the heep, and head to ure. Or....try to take bro lite to ure and maybe run it at the old track?

It is Mothers day Sunday, But Ive already pampered my wife with lavish gifts of many/pedi/massage/flowers/kohl's gift card..So my hall pass is good all weekend.

Maybe I'll just...

I went wheeling at ure. Met up with some old pals that I hadn't wheeled with in years. We rode everything and had a great day. Good to wheel with @Chuckman and @ncpartsguy again. On the way to URE, I called @rockrubicon, he's the guy that I sold this tj to 8 or 9 years ago. I told him I was headed to ure for the maiden voyage of the jeep since I'd bought it back and fixed on it a little. He was game so all in all, It was a great reunion Saturday.

And then, after a good day on the trails, my wife and kids met me at the Outpost for an evening of hiking, eating, and camping at arrowhead. I have to say, at first I was dissapointed that I was not racing in PA, but this weekend turned out so good, that I'm glad I stayed in NC instead. We all had a great Mothers day!

After struggling for 30 minutes, Maycee was finally able to drag, wrestle, and push this rock out of the lake. Meanwhile, Ella, to show she was strong too, decided she wanted to push this tree over into the lake.

Don't worry, we made Maycee return the rock to where she found it, and Ella had to straighten the tree back up.
They gotta learn that tread lightly applies to more than jeep riding.
