what to look for when buying a used truck?

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a used truck for general fun and mud/trail time.
I used to own a nice k10 but I was young and dumb as hell and drove it into the ground....now I am old and not so dumb and want to find a nice k10/k5 for playing and working.
What kind of things should I look for as far as lifted/mud trucks?

That Ford Supercab is pretty nasty but dang is that sucker long!! Really it all depends on your budget and what you want. You want one already built up I assume? If that so then check the classifieds for this site. Craigslist is another good source. If you are looking for a DD/Wheeler, then I suggest building one up so you know what all put into it. Otherwise, just a trail vehicle, get one used, abused and ready to cruise!
