i am doing some aid work in Haiti and one of the things i have to do is replace the tranny in the pastors van that i am working with. it is a 1990 e350 with a 7.3, and the tranny was removed years ago for a rebuild. he told me that he has been through 3 autos in this thing already, so i thing a HD rebuild and a big cooler are in order. here is the catch though; i went to look at the van when i was in Port-Au-Prince a few weeks ago and it has been sitting for a long time. the original tranny is long gone as well as the flexplate, crossmember, kickdown cable, most all the hardware and other misc parts. i need to get all the parts i need shipped down there so i can put it in while i am there over christmas break. whats the best way to go about this? go to a JY and pull it all, then have tranny rebuilt? i know this isnt 4x4 related but i dont know where else to ask. oh if it helps the VIN is 1FBJS31M2LHA52628
thanks
