What will you do in 2020?

I have had that same little speaker for 5-6 years. I keep thinking about "upgrading " since I dont carry it backpacking anymore, but since it still works perfectly I cant justify it.
I have been extremely happy with mine.
 
What will I do vs what I need to do gets me depressed when I think about all of it.

Just to list a few,
Build lean to on building.
Enclose said building
Build deck/outdoor kitchen on back of house
Remodel kitchen and living room
Sell place at the lake
Get a motorhome
Finish the 79 chief
Sell/trash a ton of shit taking up space in shop
Strip and paint AMX
Finish upgrades on JK
Create time to go wheeling/camping
More time to fish this year. Didn't uncover boat last year.

Oh and there is this money thing that really gets in the way. Gonna go drink a beer now.
 
Lots of Traveling, hunting and mountain biking. Get some more tree’s cut down around the house. Do some upgrades to the house. Finally get my buggy up for sale and clean out my shop. I get roughly 2 wknds off a month and about 3/4 of them are already planned for 2020.
 
Hopefully make more slow progress on my Jeep.
 
Start the year off working New Year’s Day for double time and a half. Celebrating 20th anniversary the end of January with a weeks vacation to south Fl and the keys. Get my foot and leg back to 100% and get fit! 2020 is going to be my year to work any available OT at work in preparation for saving for a big 2021 wheelin trip out west with my brothers. Spend more time with people that matter and make time for ME!
 
1. Out of debt besides the house
2. I have a product I want to build and market and see how that goes.
3. Wheel even more than this year (so 300 days out of the year right @Jody Treadway ?)
4. I want to get my 72 Duster out of storage and start work on it again.
5. Might start dating again after the Divorce.
 
I thought up a couple more goals for 2020,

Hit up windrock and harlan.

Get my brother back into wheeling, even though he has a jeep. Always fun to wheel with your best friend and hopefully keep my nephews interested in the offroad thing....
 
In 2020,

I want to be a better (not so negative) person. I have noticed in the last couple of years, I've inherited my Dad's little to no patience and I want to try and be bit more calm instead of being wound so tight most of them time. I want to stop and enjoy the moment more often, especially with a little girl who is growing like a weed.

I also want to shoot more and take some low light/Rifle courses.

I want to continue on my journey with Dave Ramsey and work on becoming debt free.
 
I will do what I want when I want to do it.
 
I'm going to build a garage. Unlike 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019, when I planned to build a garage but clearly didn't.

Do it before you turn 40, when your eyes are statistically likely to change again. My optometrist told me a few months back "Sure, you can get Lasik, but you're over 40 so you'll still probably need reading glasses". Sigh.

Is that a Mini H20? I just looked that up, and the price is right for what I'm looking for ($20). I got myself a little 2-in-1 Chromebook (for a killer deal) specifically for watching TV while I cook, but I can barely hear it in the kitchen at max volume. So I figure a Bluetooth speaker is perfect to fix that problem.

It is the mini h20 and its a nice little speaker.I see they have many more larger/louder ones too and Im thinking about getting a bigger one to put in my truck.

Do my December billing.

Respond to a couple of RFIs on a couple of projects and get plans to the engineer on another. Get updated plans to yet another...

As for the rest of January...

Start growing some herbs in the aerogarden contraption my mom gave me for Christmas, with the kids' help.

Get my first grader reading stuff he likes on his own (not out loud to me bc I make him practice).

Teach my 3rd grader to knit and sew bc she's asked.

Finish the two books I'm reading and complete another. While sitting in my new chair, of course.

Kick some ass "at work".

Get a good head start on my CE for the year.

Design a treehouse for the kids.
 
Seriously: be a better and more intentional dad and husband. There’s room for improvement.

WJ: long arms, gears, D60’s, 40’s and all the goodies that come with it. (It could happen :D)
