All of the above. We have 3 cookouts to attend, may take the boat out, gonna get the fishing poles out, gonna get the Rc crawlers out. Probably take the top and doors off the Jeep. may put the new tie rod on the Jeep. I'm really looking forward to spending the weekend with my kids and my friends. It's gonna be great!!

I think I'm just going to BBQ with the fam at the house all the while we'll be educating the kids on what memorial day is all about.

I was going to add insulation to my attic.
But it's going to be 90 degrees, so forget that.

We're going to a BB-Q and Hot Dawg cook out in URE! But we're the ones that's cooking! Hope to see some friends!

Full weekend for me: wheeling, wedding (not me) & cook-out

I'll be at URE on Saturday testing out a buggy a guy in our club has built to get it dialed in before going to Harlan this year.
Terry, I'll definitely be stopping by for some grub and some stickers!

Wrenching on sat, wheeling on sun,off to the junkyard on mon, thinking of my brothers fighting the good fight every day of my life and never forgetting the ones that made the ultimate sacrifice

I have to work :gitrdun: .........might get monday off. Everyone be safe on the road, saw miles of traffic on I-40 here at 4:15pm. the traffic in town was great ......everyone must be a the beach!!

Fleamarket with dad in the AM, then up to hang out with Chris at Buckeye performance to help him out on a buggy. Upgrades and playing with the RC crawlers Sunday. Chilling and organizing the hobby room Monday

i'm not trying to put anyone down or put myself above anyone else, but it does seem like a lot of focus on Memorial day is on us as individuals and our freedoms to do whatever we like. I don't think that this is how we should look at it. Can anyone share what they or others are doing to celebrate those that have paid the ultimate price on our behalf. I don't know any families personally that have lost a loved one and have prayed for those that have, but think it would be good to help in some way, even if I don't know what to do.

We paid respects at the church this morning by marking all the graves of past military with flags. We are heading over to pay respects to both my grandfathers at there resting places. To top off the day I will be send out thank yous to all my facebook heros that where, and are in the armed services(if I forget anyone I will apolize right now)

broncosbybart, you sir are correct and thank you.:usa:

I am going to spend some time thinking back on some old memories of some friends we lost, and what there sacrifice means.

Been running to soccer tournaments, made it out to URE today and plan on spending the day on the lake tomorrow. I have sent out thank you's to all my fellow veterans and thank you to all the veterans on here!!!!

Sent from my microwave using a teleportation device.

Thank you guys for your input. I have thanked those that I know in the services via Facebook. I don't know why, but about a year ago a photo of a hero who was KIA has stuck with me. He was on a stretcher and the only part visible was his arm and hand, with a wedding band on it. We are truly blessed to have a dedicated elite group of armed forces serving us at all times!

My wife and I are taking the kids to the Salisbury national cemetery to pay our respect and teach them what memorial day actually means and why we celebrate it. I lost a few friends while I was stationed at Ellsworth AFB SD so this is their day and those that came before.

I bbq'd with some fellow veterans and am thinking back on friends that have made the ultimate sacrifice. Semper fi
