The sigs only tell part of the tail. So, I am starting a thread on trail rigs. What mods and so on. Tell all you want about your trail rig.

Mine started life as a 85 CJ-7. Not much left of the original Jeep. The only thing original to the one I bought as a stocker is the hood, Frame, and Tranny. Everything else has been replaced or changed.

118" wheel base, stretched all in the rear.
Dana 60 front, Corp 14 bolt rear. Both with Detroit lockers. 4:56 gears
Rear has disk brakes also.
Front has hydraulic assist, KC4X4 high steer arms, with tie rod behind the diff.
Tractor supply tubed PTO shaft hybrid front drive shaft, Chevy Blazer lengthened rear drive shaft. CV's on both ends.
Home made tie rod and drag link, with 3/4 heims
39.5 Super Swamper Boggers.
Weld on Bead locks
3 1/2 inch BDS Wrangler lift springs,
Spring over axle
Rancho 9000's all four corners
Front half of cage is from a 95 wrangler, back half home built
Mile Marker 12,000 lb winch with in cab controller
Seats are Junk Yard re covered with marine vinyl
Brand new maverick harnesses
Booty fab console made from amo box
AMC 360, running on propane
4 core radiator
power steering cooler
York OBA, with two air tanks to run all air tools
T-176 tranny and Dana 300 t-case running 4 to 1 Terra low gears
To be installed this week, Pertonix igniter to take the place of my points dizzy
My Pane tanks sit on a rack which is hinged and can lift via a pneumatic cylinder to access a hidden tool box made possible from the frame stretch

I have a sami tubed out with 5.14 transfercase gears, 4.10 axle gears, buggy leafs with yj's in the rear, RUF with missing links up front, locked front and back, streched 8 inches, webber carb and soon to be waggy axles and a 4.3 this winter.

triangulated 4 link front , currie johnny joint/re bushing , 2" x .250" lowers and 1.5" x .250" uppers. 6" XJ coils in custom buckets moved high up on the frame.
Rear is a wishbone 3 link with the same tube specs. Stock TJ rear coils out back. Rear, RE joint/re bushing (rubicon express) all lowers are 2" 250 wall DOM Uppers are all RE bushing 3/4 heims
Hydro stuff:
Danfoss orbital, Cheif ram.
All hoses are off the shelf parts from Tractor Supply 24"/36"

alright, here is my turd.
It is a 93 pathfinder with yota axles. 5.29s, lock right up front and detroit out back, longfields up front and chromollys in the rear. Custom bumpers and cage and such. Halfway herculined. Not too much to look at. Will have some beadlocks and a tire carrier on it once I get the t-case and front axle back under it...

1946 Jeep
YJ frame, YJ tub, CJ front end, front raised slightly to clear full size car radiator. Some roll cage work. Front engine tubes and radiator hoop under hood. CJ automatic brake pedal assembly. CJ lower heater box, upper box removed and vent covered, for storage compartment.
1970ish 307 small block chevy (SBC) w/ swaped on TBI, custom TBI chip tuning by me. Aftermarket ram horn exhaust manifolds to custom Y pipe to 3" exhaust. Serp. belt conversion, York/OBA,
Front D60 - 4.56 LockRight. TSM Behind knuckle steering arms
Rear 14Bolt - 4.56 Detroit Disk Brake Swap, shaved bottom.
700r4 - Ill be rebuilding it this winter. JB conversion t-case adaptor/clock ring, cutom modified camaro floor shifter :)
D300 - JB conversion 4:1 gears. Stock outputs
Custom crossmember, tranny/t-case mounting, covered w/ 3/8" alum belly skid, with extra guards for muffler, oil pan and ebrake disk..
High Angle Driveline - D300 output e-brake kit.. and rear 1350CV 1410 on the 14b
+4" Alcan rear leafs, custom mix front pack..
Warn M8000 on custom lopro winch plate/front bumper.
38" TSLs on recentered H1s, and 36" TSL-Radials for the street.
Much more the average person will surly never notice.
