Looking for one 35 12.50 15 bfg all terran. Also looking for other reviews on other tires. Most be great for beach driving.

The BFG All Terrain when aired down is very good on the beach. I used to air mine down to about 12 psi for the sand dunes and they always did well. I usually ran out of power before I ran out of traction.

That's what I run right now. Wasn't sure if there was any other tire that's better on sand. So far I haven't had any issues with them other then having a blow out on way home.

Any tire with a wide footprint/aired down will do fine. My brother ran thornturds for a yr while living in Wilmington on his tj and they were just as good as any tire any of us ran.

With that said, the old ford ice cream truck at Carolina beach runs pizza cutters and probably weighs 9k or better and gets around just fine:eek:

Interco Trxus STS, if they're even still made, are a good sand tire. Bfg ATS are fine though.

OK thanks, was just wondering. I love the bfg in sand on beach but this is the second blow out on beltline at 65 mph I have had with them. Blow out happened last time 5 weeks ago on way to freeman park, then just this past weekend another one blowed out on way home. Both side wall blow outs.

What tire pressure and load range are you running? I've got load d 315/75-16 bfg ats on my 03 f250 diesel (its basically a 35x12.5). I'm on my third set I get 40-50,000 miles per set. I run 50psi and rotate every oil change. If you're having that many blowouts it sounds like low pressure, too little load rating or just a bad run of tires but that's less likely.

any tire, any tread + 15-20 psi depending on vehicle. Digging tread + normal psi = stuck
