Got a truck I'm about to post up but not sure what to ask for it since prices are all over the place on Craigslist. Need some Toyota market advice.
93 regular cab 22re, 5spd, 129k miles. It's a bit old man looking with a camper topper on it but it drives good. I just put new calipers and hoses on it and a new battery. Has new tires. I know itd be gold if gas was still $4 a gallon but realistically what is a good price to ask for it? I've seen 2500-3500 for some online that I don't think are as clean or low miles.
Will post pictures tonight hopefully.

How is the rust situation in the usual spots - behind the fenders, rear frame etc?
If those are good, I could see 3500 being a reasonable asking price, knowing you'd maybe get $3k from a Toy fan and both walk away happy. 2500 is very reasonable and I'd think would sell pretty quick.

^ no rust anywhere. I didn't know they had rust issues.
So, you've never actually seen a 2nd-3rd gen Toyota before? :D There are no 1sts left b/c they all deteriorated, haha.
Rust was apparently a standard install from the factory. Typically around the rocker panels just before and after the wheel well. Then above the wheel well. And on the rear frame. And the IFS ccrossmembers frame mounts (which are different on this one, being 2wd).

If it really is rust-free, maybe could get 3500 from the right person.
It would help to clean up the interior, maybe hit a junkyard or Tuffy or something and find new carpet.
These are fun banging around town/drifting corners trucks b/c they're so light in the back and don't weigh much. Of course, still only 115 hp...
