I'm looking at a 9" and D44 combo out of a 79 Bronco, cast wedges. What's a fair offer?

A lot of open space in that question. What shape are they in? Trash or drop in ready. I’d say anywhere from I’ll take em off your hands to about $500 unless they are tricked out (gears, lockers, chro-mo, etc) then I’d go up from 500 accordingly.

$300

The cast wedges limit the ability to run anything but a radius arm set up. Unless you retube them. I'd say $150 - $200 each tops.

I agree with this. Cast wedge makes then near useless unless you aren’t looking to use these for an off road application.
Rear 9” honestly isn’t that strong in stock form due to weak third member caps.
I might would spend $400, but no more than $500 for sure.

But it really depends on what you intend to do with them and what they have done to them.

Im probably not the right one to be answering your question but a cast wedge 44 can easily be parted for $500 plus,so anything under that for the pair would be good/reasonable deal,IMO.

I got a Ford cast wedge with a 3 link setup. Seems to work.

It does work, and can be an improvement over many stock systems. But it’s not ideal. Just so much easier to start with a 250 housing and not have the cast wedges to deal with.

Did you weld mounts to the cast wedges? Really interested in seeing how you did it.
I bought this xj from @Desertfox1023. I don't know who did this. Never asked. I know he wheeled it hard & said it worked well. I've had it at the mall a few times. I hope to be at the annual cluster cluck. You are more than welcome to inspect.

I'll be there. Yes I would like to check it out.
