What's it worth?

Okay, found a pair of 75 F150's in a local boneyard, both have dealer installed integral AC. The owner says I'm welcome to pirate one, but when I asked him for a price he's not talking. Since I'm removing it in 100+ degree heat index weather I'm thinking $50 sounds reasonable, but don't want to look completely insane. What do y'all think?
 
I think you tell him $50 if you remove it, $150 if he does it. He'll decide real quick what his time inside in the A/C is worth.
 
I'd not charge more than $50 sor someone to pull it themselves.
 
Awesome, maybe the old guy will bite on that offer. Vynil interior, no tint, and no ac just isn't gettin it this summer. Or maybe I'm getting old. Either way, for the first time I'll be adding creature comforts to a truck with bias 39's. May even go for power windows and cruise control....
 
If it is in fact dealer installed, I'd say offer 50 but up to $100 would be fair. If it's factory, some of those parts go for crazy money...maybe the owner knows that, maybe he doesn't, but I'd be happy to get an entire factory setup for $200. Hell, it's not uncommon seeing factory Ford evap units for dentsides sell for $200+.
 
Best I can tell they're dealer installed units (the passenger side vent is crooked on both of them) But I'd have little problem with paying $200+ for a system I could verify was functional, but neither truck is running, and the condition of neither system is known.
