What's the going rate for a HP D60 these days???

Like the title says, What will a HP D60 sell for these days???

Out of a 1978-79 F-350, 4.10 gear IIRC... Caliper to Caliper complete.
 
$1200/$1350-ish if it's real nice is about the goin rate for that axle.BUT big stuff like axles are'nt movin too well right now so dont expect people to beat your door down for it at that price.
 
Well I have 2 - Ford HP D60 from 78-79's . I've had them for about 5-6 years now and I need to get them gone...

One was pulled from a running truck the other I bought and it sits under my S.A.S truck which was never finished.

Guess I need to get pictures and get them up for sale...

I'm just glad I don't have the only unfinished SAS in Lenoir Co.....
 
I've been seeing quite a few going in the $8-1000 range. FYI...no 350 4x4's until 79. So if you do in fact have a 78 HP D60, it came out of a 78 250 Sno-Fighter.
 
Like he said, I've been seeing them cheaper recently. Guess it just depends on what people are willing to pay. I'd say you would be doing well to get 1200 for a stock un-rebuilt ford kp 60.
 
The bottom line is that it all depends on how long you're willing to sit on it. At $1200 you will eventually sell it, but it might take weeks or months to find a buyer. You can probably sell it today if you'll take $750 for it. I paid under $600 for mine, because the guy needed it gone and gone fast.
