You wanted soo bad as a kid but never got??? For me it was a Honda CR 250.IIRC in 85 it was about $1300.00 for a new one. To a 14 year old it might as well be a million $$'s

Man that was THE ride in it’s day! I wasn’t even born in 85, but when I was 10 years old (in 95) it was still a bad bike.

Sadly as a kid that rode four-wheelers almost everyday from the time I was 3 my "one thing" is way more than one. I always wanted any 250r four-wheeler I could get hold of, or a 500 quadzilla, or a banshee, oh and a tecate 250, dang almost forgot a honda odyssey. I also loved the cr500 bike, got to ride one quite a few times but that old. Even as I grew up my wants got a hold of me, I bought one of the first raptor 660's to make it to the triad area and raped the piss out of it, flat track, and cross country racing. Fast forward to today, I just wish I was in a better position to get my kids into it as young as I did.

A Wenonah canoe. Had to settle for an Old Town instead. Actually ended up with two Old Towns, because my friend's family bought one also so we had one at each house. We were inseparable fishing buddies in middle school, and fishing out of a canoe was a full time job all spring and summer.

A pool table.
I've had one since I was about 30..

I’ve wanted a motorcycle since I was a little kid. When I was little I wanted a Ducati monster (still do, but I’m too scared) now I really want a dual sport.

my dad had a CL350/60 when he around 20. I’d like one of those too.

This is an interesting question for me. Didn’t have a lot growing up...but I don’t remember wanting a whole lot either. Only thing I really remember getting upset about and didn’t understand why I couldn’t have it were some NFL team logo pencils.

So at the age of 12-13 I’d say, my rowdy uncle Randy had what I thought was the most badass K5 blazer. He had built it out the ass and put a 427 with a 4 speed big lift and 38” Ground Hawgs. He would let me drive it way before I got my license and always told me when I got my license he was giving it to me. Before I could get my license he was driving through Cruso where I’m from and an old buddy that he had a falling out with passed him on hwy 276. As the ole Deaver boy passed he flipped my uncle off so he spun the blazer around and rammed ole boy out of the road into a rock cliff on the side of the road totally destroying both vehicles and almost killed ole boy. Needless to say I didn’t get the K5 and rowdy uncle Randy wasn’t around for a while since he got sent to prison for a while for that stunt.

Sames. Only things I can ever remember wanting and not getting were random Lego kits. My parents weren't stretched but they were/are frugal so we didn't expect tons of shit. My kids have it a little different. My wife's family were broke as church mice but always bought everything they wanted. Let's just say that we clash hard at Christmas... We're at the beach right now and the house we are renting has cable, probably the first time my son has seen commercials in his 3 short yrs (I'm too cheap for satellite). He started saying "I want that for Christmas” every time a toy commercial came on. I was getting annoyed and telling him that you can't get everything you want, scared to death I was raising an entitled little shit. He said it one time too many and I was about to go off on him, but when I looked at him to give home the business he was laughing. Little fucker was trolling me..
