ok so heres what its doin. as im sitting in the drivers seat truck running in park, stick my head out the window looking down @ LF tire i move the steering wheel L-R-L-R slowly and seems for a split second the body moves then the tire.? make any sense? just wondering what it could be? seems the front end (suspension, tre, etc)on mine needs to be throughly gone thru. some of you have my number and i can explain it better over the phone if needed, just wanted any and all input. thanks again

im replacing the whole trac-bar asap. so if thats it cool.

I had the weld on a track bar bracket break, so make sure you inspect thoroughly the welds on the track bar brackets.

Yep its the Track Bar.

The steering box is mounted to the body and the drag link is pushing against the wheels sitting on the ground which take some force to turn, The counter force is pushing the body in the opposite direction. The track bar is there to hold it in place and not allow the force to move the body. If its moving the body and then the wheels turn, then the track bar bushings are allowing movement until they bottom out. Could lead to a DW also.

yes its started dw again.

Check the trac-bar bracket first!!!! I ended up welding my mount to my unibody because the damn bolts kept coming loose. You may not need bushings at all.

i know its the trac bar bc the nuckle (tre) blew out. i fabedd up one i got from HaPToad but its NR'd for now. the bracket and frame looked good.

Oh great, drag my name in to this. I agree with everybody else. The end you got from me may have been on the way out considering it was on my POS.

I think thats what's has gone out on mine.. I can see the tires start jibbing and the body is jiving with them... was suspicious of it as my TRE's are good, wheel bearings, and disc run-out.. are there any off the shelf adjustables or an easy way to fab one??

rough country and rustys off road have them. ive learned(the hard way) to go with the best. be prepared to spend 150-250 for a good set up. or do what im doin and get on here to try and find deals.
