ok so im gonna be picking up some new wheels for my zj. im getting some with 4inch backspacing and they will initially only have some 31/10.5/15 tires but will be upgrading to 32 or 33 inch tire with 12.5 width once i go with a bigger lift. the wheels im looking at come in 15x8 and 15x10. with the 15x8 being cheaper......i know the 15x8s will be fine with the 31/10.5 but will there be an issue with 33/12.5 when i get to that point? dont wanna have to buy new wheels once i get to that point? i would think that the 15x8s would be pushing it with the 12.5 inch width of the 33s. i will never be going past 33s under my jeep. i was also worried about the 15x10 popping out too much compared to the 15x8s. i know the 4inch backspacing is gonna have them out right around where i want but with the 15X10 its and extra 2inch thickness and wasnt sure if it would come out 2 inchs more as well?

stick with15x8, that's what most people use with 33 x12.5s. I even ran 7" wheels, just had to keep the air pressure a little lower to prevent the center tread from wearing out on the street. A lot less worries about losing a bead when aired down though.
