wheel spacers... how much is too much?

Are 2" spacers too much for a cj dana 30? I understand the extra leverage they put on the wheel bearings and how they affect scrub radius and all that stuff, but I have no real experience with wheel spacers. 2" sounds like a lot to me, what do you think and why?

Wheel backspacing plays a large part in that. Are you going to be running a stock wheel with lots of backspacing, or an aftermarket wheel with 2.5" backspacing?

Probably will be running an 8" wide rim with 3.5" or 3.75" backspacing.

CJ dana 30s arent unit bearings.

I don't think youll be setting yourself up for immediate failure or anything.. I would run them for sure if i needed the clearance, especially with almost 4" of backspacing on yhour wheels.

I ran 2" spacers for over a year on mine, with 35" boggers and beadlocks. No bearing issues.
