Wheel Spacers...yay or nay?

I thought about putting 1.5" or 2" wheel spacers on my CJ to widen things out a bit. Just checking to see if it is a logical thing to do considering I cant afford wider axles atm...

My .02 opinion is that 2" is a lot of spacer. Others may disagree.

I don't see a problem. Lotsa guys run them w/ no trouble.
BUT, you can get new wheels w/ 2.5" backspacing at Summit for less than 150 bucks...shipped!
Won't be quite as wide.....but I think 2" spacers run $100 a pair er so.

This is the page I ordered my zook wheels , but they have the same wheel in whatever bolt pattern...either browse or talk to them.
