Yup, goofy, but I see no shame in admitting I like it.
Learned a lot about some weird cars.

The mini-series where they went through different countries slowly up-trading to get to a supercar was pretty neat

I like it a lot more than the Fast & Loud type of BS, b/c it is way more real and down to Earth

What show???

I DVR it and watch it when nothing else is on. Lol some of the stuff they consider "restored" makes me laugh... And holy Jesus the rust they have over there....

You forgot pound, quid, naught, mate, proper, cheers, superb, crackin, niggle, dodgy, good nick, cup of tea, rubbish, MOT and aluminium. Love the show.

The older shows were some real piles of crap, rusted and just plain beaters. Still better than fast and loud. Also, look up some of the world records Ed China holds.

Love watching it, resto/car show that I will watch. Everything else is way to scripted and just BS. This show they show all the cool details and stuff. " Steering is a bit wonky, may have a loose Bush" "I'm going to be a bit Cheeky with him" The quotes from the show are half the fun of watching

Also like the fact that they are open about things that don't go as planned, sometimes they find a real problem and lose a lot of money on it. That and the re-sale values are realistic, sometimes when you do the math it's clear they made very little for the time put in.

It's a crakin' motor (car)!!!

I think I read some place that the sale part at the end of the show are staged and as a matter of fact a good amount of the vehicles don't sell... What they do with them is anyone's guess.

It'd be cool if there was a warehouse somewhere with all the projects.

I keep seeing the commercial for their US series but I keep forgetting to find it and DVR.

Have been watching it since it was on hd theater/discovery hd now velocity. Same with top gear, I remember when james may was skinny and none of them had grey hair. Was always amazed at the rust on WD. There was a TVR they did and the frame looked like it had been soaked in acid. Had to replace the whole thing.

I didn't like the show at all when I first watched a few months ago. It has kinda grown on me since. I really liked the latest US filmed shows with the Charger, the bloody Fastback, and the MB.
