Wheeling near Raleigh?

I just got a Jeep and have not had time to take it to URE yet and was wondering if anyone knew of a place to go near Raleigh that was good for some light wheelin that is not too far away, maybe just a day trip. I just want to see the flex on the suspension and try to fix any probs before I go to URE this fall. Anyone have any ideas, thanks for the help.

Im not from the area, but I dont believe there is... take a day trip to URE, you shouldnt have any issues...

URE is closest place. if you are going to make a day of it....URE is worth the short drive.

Visit URE on August 23rd and have some fun!

You should plan your day trip on August 23rd and wheel in the am and then come to Uwharrie Adventures that afternoon for our Mud Bog race. The race begins at 1:00 and will last until about 5:00 depending on how many vehicles register.
General Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12 and under.
Bring your own coolers and chairs. We had one last month and had a lot of fun and have worked out some kinks and added hills and holes to our mud pit. We had about 450 people here last time, hope to have at least that many this time.
