I am looking to update my 1999 Tahoe a little, so I am looking for some new to me wheels. My question is what lug pattern do I have? I have found that it is 6x139.7, but what the heck does that mean? Is that the same as 6x5.5? I am just having a problem searching for "tahoe wheels" because everything that comes back is either a 20 inch rim or a 22 inch rim. I just want to replace my factory 16 inch rim with another 16 inch rim. Also, anyone see any trouble in changing from a 16x7 to a 16x8?

Awesome, thanks guys. Anyone have any idea what kind of backspacing I need?

A lot of aftermarker rims come with 4.5-4.625 (5/8)" backspacing for those trucks. That will make them stick out a little more than stock. I want to say stock it around 5" or so, don't quote me on it though.

Going from a 16x7 to a 16x8 will be fine.

Cool guys, thanks for the input. I swear, I know all the little details about my ZJ, but I have never messed with the Tahoes before (read she is 100% stock except a drop in K&N).

Bigbody, I will send you a PM once I pick up a new set of wheels.
