I know this isnt the right place to post this but it wont let me post anywhere else. Im looking at some cherokees online. But when did jeep start using regular fuel injection? I have seen some late 80's that were throtle body but was wondering when they changed to regular fuel injection. I found a sweet 88 with the 4.0 and wasnt sure what type it would be.:jeep:

88 is fi multiport, but its not the ho version, they switched in 91, buy a 91 and newer, much more power and way less overheating problems, dont think cherokees with 4.0's had throttle body injection ever, but I could be wrong. wranglers are a diff story they were throttle body fi in the 4 cylinders staring in 1987, but they had I think 4.2 I6 carb. until 1991 when they switched to 4.0 HO
