When does Uwharrie Close this year

I know the rule of thumb is that Uwharrie closes on December 15. However, this year that days fall on Saturday. Does anyone know if Uwharrie closes on Saturday, December 15 OR are they going to have it close on Sunday, December 16?

I am looking for a definitive answer. Not what the Forest Service "should do".

From the responses below- Uwharrie closes on Monday, December 17.

I've sent a message to Ranger Walker asking for the official answer...

She replied:

OHV trails will close the morning of December 17th
