When does Uwharrie open

Looked on the forestry website and cant seem to find a opening date for 2009. Anyone know? If there is a group planning a trip I would be interested in tagging along.

last i knew was closed from 15 dec to 15 march....could be wrong though

The 16-mile system of designated off-highway vehicle trails in the Badin Recreation area will be

SEASONALY CLOSED

on

December 15th at 8:00 am
and reopen on
April 1st at 8:00 am*

*Wet weather on either end of the planned closure period could necessitate closing the trails earlier than December 15th, or extend the period of closure beyond March 31. Please call the Ranger District Office at (910) 576-6391 for the latest information.
