i know its cold outside but this is the best time to think about that nice beach youve been on during the hot summers. i was planning on taking another vacation this year but i wanna go to jamaica but my girlfriends and i have already been there so she wants to go somewhere else weve done the cruise thing and it was fun but i would like to just relax on a beach for a few days like at a sandals resort. so where did yall have a great time at and would recommend??

check out the Cayes in Belize. Caye Caulker is cool, I will go back soon. Caye Ambergis is one of the bigger islands that you can take a water taxi to for the day or stay there. you can also do a all day scuba or snorkel trip to the Hol Chan Marine reserve, which is like swimming in a fish tank. fly into Belize city, a cab ride & a 45min water taxi ride and your chillin . Caye Caulkers moto is Go Slow
These pics were taken early in the morning. people there are late to bed, late to rise.

We don't go anywhere exotic but usually go to MB at least once, some years two times. We spend a week in the cabin in Gatlinburg, and again for Valentines weekend and normally 3-4 days for the April fools ride and Fall Crawl at Harlan.
Never cared for the ideal of a cruise since I dont drink or gamble,so besides eatin what else is there to do on a boat for a week ? Would love to go to New Orleans to see the WWII museum and go see the beach at Normandy.

Aruba - my sister has a time share so it only costs us airfare, bar tab, and one big, fat, expensive dinner for my sister and her husband.

I was going to say Bonaire, had a blast there and rented a 4X4 for a week and had a blast! No conversion on money and they speak english, tallest building is 2 floors and parrots fly wild in flocks, nude beaches and pools. The diving is in the top places to go.

Oh yeah leaving January 10th for Fl. for a few weeks or so.

for a close easy trip, I vote Charleston SC. Great history lesson, beautiful scenery, and a big ass tree!!

I went to Hawaii last September/October. We stayed on Maui. I highly recommend it. If interested, I can provide details of where we stayed and suggest activities etc.

Been to two Sandals resorts, St. Lucia and the Bahamas. You can't beat the all inclusive resorts!

idk i think im more of the person whos like exotic places outside of america so im really leaning toward Jamaica again i had such a blast last time and a cruise is awesome they play
big movies out on the deck and you can sit in the hot tub and watch it and theres a pool and you only on the boat at night during the day you visit other places off the boat i dont drink but i still had alot of fun

Been to Cabo twice now and absolutely love it. We are looking for a vacation home there now. Stayed at the Finnesterra the first time and last month stayed at the Marquis los cabos.

I went to Nassau for Christmas and it was sweet. We stayed at the Wyndham which was right on Cable Beach, and right beside a casino. I went snorkeling one day which was really cool, rented a moped one day and just got lost and saw the island, went to paradise island one day. it was a good trip and i'd definately recommend it.

We did our honeymoon at a Sandals (Royal Bahamian in the Bahamas) and are going back this winter, this time to St. Lucia.

Being all-inclusive is great if you don't want to even think about money and just relax. But, if your idea of vacation is to always be doing things away from where you're staying, you might be spending more money than necessary. For us, a vacation like this involves breakfast on the patio of the room, relaxing by the pool with drinks for a few hours, lunch, a nap, activity for a little while, drinks, and a nice dinner.. So for us, Sandals is perfect.

Definitely try and go for the up-level rooms, especially the ones that list "Butler Service" - It made an already great time even better...

Charleston, SC is great, we go at least 2 times a year. Me and the wife spent this New Year's there. We stay at Folly Beach which is just across the bridge from Charleston.

BTW...The Big ass tree is called The Angel Tree, it is pretty awesome.

My old man has a house that's rarely used on the far point of Captiva Island in Fla. The place is unreal, South Seas plantation. The best fishing I've ever experienced and they have a "no light rule" at dusk,(and it's pitch black except for stars) by far the most perfect beach I've ever been to.

Can you get me the keys for a wk round the end of April:D

We've been to Jamaica and Cancun twice each now. Headed somewhere at the end of April and can't figure out where to go. Kinda hooked on the all inclusive route. I don't like to cook or constantly hand over cash for drinks while I'm being lazy.

Went to key west last wednesday and spent new years. Went swiming on new years eve and got a little bit of a tan. Stayed at the holiday inn right off US 1. Had a blast on duval st and drank too much. But the only bad thing was the 14 hr drive down there and back. Take a plane.

Jordan Lake, Ocracoke, Morrow Mountain

Pretty lucky guy. All of our vacations involve our boat and/or going fishing

Went to Jordan 7 of 8 weekends in April/May, Ocracoke for a few days, and Morrow Mountain (thursday-sun) before football season.

We don't go all out on one or two vacations, but we go quite a bit.

As cold and shitty as our weather has been I would have been on my way there about two weeks ago. That place sounds like the perfect get away to me!

We go to our place at Oak Island for a week every year and a lot of weekends. We did a fishing trip to the Cape in October this year (yes the wife surf fishes with me). A couple of years ago she wanted to go out of country. I've been to 36 countries so she wanted to hit an island. We ended up at a very nice resort in Negril, Jamica for 8 days and 7 nights and had a blast. Said resort will go unnamed for now....:flipoff2:

Hatteras! Kids can play safely, I can fish during the day/gig at night. Wife can read and we can both relax. If you dont like the people beside you, find somewhere else to park.

We will be going back to Belize sometime soon.
