Where to buy steel tubing??? Greenville area

I'm in greenville and trying to find steel suppliers...

I need several different types of Square and Round tubing priced and haven't had much luck in Greenville.

I asked at 2 local shops about DOM and HREW and they looked at me like I was speaking SWAHILI...

Any pointers to some suppliers in Raliegh would be great.

After the luck I had getting any info on what was in Spring Hope I decided you didn't love me anymore!!!!

I can't even find out what is in Spring Hope...

We have some small stuff here. I have a big tube order that should be here anyday. If you need new steel pricing I can get it for you.

"drops" are like a point and ask type of thing

you don't need to buy tube, save $$$ for the suburban :D
 
Sooooo, nobody on this board in Raleigh purchases Steel anywhere????

I'm looking for a steel supplier in the Greenville area. I don't need much normally so having a store to go to without needing to ship would be great.

For instance, right now I need some 0.875" OD and some flat stock. Where would I go for something like this?
 
Dubose Steel, Dillon Supply, Hunnings Inc. That's where I go anyway...
 
isn't there a supplier on 13 heading south out of town? It would be on the left(heading out towards Snow Hill) after you pass the 4 lane and it drops baqck to 2...across from the salveage yard.
 
Foymart in Spring Hope only carries certain things and are limited. Good prices but I got the same thing when I asked for DOM. Ears tilt differet directions, head tilts to the side with a bug ole "Huhhhh?"o_O

Dillon Supply will be your most expensive supplier on this side of the Mississippi river.:shaking: Unless they mess up your order and throw in an extra couple of sticks.:rockon:

I stopped by there today. They only carry sched. 40 in standard sizes like 3/4 and 1". The lady behind the counter said go to Lowes for specialty sizes. :confused:

It looks like I will be ordering crap online.
 
Archie's is the place you are talking about.

Metals USA, marmon keystone, Dillon Supply, BMG metals, Ryerson, ferguson, murray supply, etc. all have these items and can deliver. No need to order online for twice the price...
