where to buy wheels

I need some steel wheels for my build, just wanted to know where some of you guys recomend buying wheels from. What I need: black steel wheel, non beadlock, 1.5" backspacing, 17x8 or 9, 8 on 6.5 lug. I called MRT the other day they have what I need of $100 per wheel, I did'nt think that was bad but I want to see who else has them and if I could find someone more local before I pull the trigger. Thanx.
 
Yeah man 1.5" BS will be hard to find so if you can get a 17" rim for 100 bucks with that BS i would jump on it!Hows the build comin man??

There are a few steel wheel MFG's that do odd back spacing
 
1.5" BS is going to be a very large scrub radius.
 
100 bucks sounds good. I build wheels for folks and that's about what I get for standard stuff. If you have the parts I can do it and even widen what you have. Your shell with your centers I would do them for 75 bucks a pop. FOB. Or you could bring them to Atlanta (six flags area) one weekend and I could cut'm, weld'm and send you on your way.

Yea i figured it was odd it either 1.5BS or move my links in some so they don't rub the tire.. I'm gonna look at that I guess, would make the wheels easier to find and make the rig a little narrower.

Build goin good I will update it when I get some time, just had a new baby boy Jan 10th. When you commin back?

Got my black steelies with custom backspacing (2.5") from Discount Tire. Around $80 per if I recall. Quick turnover, too.
