A hydro clutch hose for an '88 YJ? I've checked all the parts stores! Noone can even special order them. What's the deal? I haven't checked with the stealership yet but I would probably be better off if I just bought the stainless braided hose from Advance Adapters at a cost of $85 which would probably be cheaper than the stealership.

Anyone ever had to buy one?

you can't buy it at the dealership. (unless they have one on the shelf) they stopped making parts for anything over 10 years old (as part of their ingenious buyout plan)

Try a hydrolyic hose shop. NAPA, should make lines, also.

I busted one in Moab and just bent me a hard line to fit since that was all I could get at the time. It was on there until I went to an auto set up.
