im thinking of ordering a propane conversion for the my 22re. just wandering where i could get the tanks filled and how much is it running these days. the reason for this decision is that who ever owned my truck in the past its had a engine fire and other bad wiring problems.

I think around 18 bucks
I got mine done at southern states

there's a guy next to the car dealership (i think its a dodge dealership) at the intersection of hwy 70 and fairgrove church rd. he fills a 10 gallon tank for $14, but it has to be cash. no debit card. He's a good guy, i would go to him just b/c of the service.

If you are talking about a fork lift type tank that most of us use, they are about 7.75 gallons. They do make the same type tank in a 10 gallon, but not too easy to find

has anyone swapped a 22re intake for a 22r intake? just wandering if the intakes are interchangeble? i know ill need a 22r distributor and coil . just trying to make my buggy alot more simple and reliable.

sounds like your headed down same path as 1stgenxxx,just fix it...replace harness before you go spending crazy money.your truck efi no need for pane.give unbreakable shout he may have one laying around or 1stgenxxx with all motors he put in swampy better yet may not want to get one from him lol:lol:
