Anybody know of a place to rent a tire groover? I want to groove my tires but don't want to buy one. Just wondering if I don't find one to use then no big deal.

I got mine new for like $70...

I own this one:

If you are on a really tight budget, see if you can get a buddy to go in halves with you on it.

I used that on my 36's. A little slow but I wasn't in a hurry. I did all 4 in about 3 hours.

My old 42's. Just the standard lug cut through the middle.

I'll probably go with this pattern on my next set:

Those are not mine.

My TSL's my yota are like 'drkelly' above, but I turned the blade upside down and siped the inner and outer lugs about 2/3 the width from the interior of the lug outward...that helps keep the outer lugs from chuncking off. Seemed to help some I think because the larger outer lugs weren't quite so rigid...

I try to find a pic

I am wanting to cut every other small tread on my bloggers. As soon as my blades and head come in ill post pics. Not too impressed with how they acted so I think that cutting off every forth lug will make a difference and make them look good.
