Ok I have a tj I'm doing a flipped d300 swap I'm stock wheel base. I'm going to need some driveshafts made. Where is a good place that do good work and decently priced. As close as possible to charlotte,nc. Thanks guys

Universal 704 598 7282. When u you call you won't be able to understand the old man. Just take your stuff over there and they'll do a great job

Olivers in Winston-Salem, Tell Dave we all sent you!

I'll give Olivers another plug. Always had good experiences with them.

Looks like olivers is the route to go. Is he decently priced. I'm trying to get the heep up and going for the save the gulches ride on the 19th just one thing after another on my tj though going thru some money on this beast lol.

In my experience, Oliver's has been in line with or better than other shops, and turnaround time and customer service is much better. Fantastic quality on custom stuff, too.

here's my olivers shaft next to the "other guys"

expensive or not, your drivehshafts arent an area you want to go with the lowest bidder.

with that being said, Olliver's (in my past experience) has been very fair in pricing. Especially compared to quality.

Definitely a good choice going with Oliver's. I had front and rear CV's rebuilt in my Bronco with all new u-joints, was out the door under $225. I dropped them off at the back gate sunday afternoon, and they called me letting me know they were ready by 11am Monday. I hadn't even run to the bank to pull the cash out by then.

X10 ... Oliver's. I dropped my off that morning at the shop and Dave brought it home with him and I picked it up there. Thats a stand-up business.

Just a Plug for Universal Ser. in Charlotte. The old man & his son, have done this all their life. Mr Price was original DS maker for Joint & Clutch. Opened his own shop off Graham St. He might not do much custom work, but if its stock, U cant go wrong. Last time I went their, with rear shaft out of my 98-Z-71. Son stopped his work, & installed me 2 new universals, while we talked. In & out the door, under 30 min. 704-598-7282
