I have a Savvy skid ready to go on my Jeep but problem is it didn't come with any hardware (nuts/bolts/etc.). I am having trouble getting the hardware from Savvy so now I am looking for a local alternative that I could pick up right away. I need some non-standard bolts and then a lot of standard ones as well. Any recommendations of places in Winston-Salem to get these today?

Commin stuff get at tractor supply.. The odd stuff hit up fastnel.

Automotive fasteners and monarch fasteners are also choices for the non standard stuff

Automotive fastener downtown. Southern fastener on Clemmonsville and Griffith. Ace Hardware on Robinhood has a huge selection of oddball stuff, too. Any of them should have what you need. Are you talking about the flat head socket screws they use?

X2 on Automotive fasteners downtown. I got a lot of stuff from them back in the day. IIRC Southern is open on Sat mornings too, unlike most fasteners sellers.

What kind of non-standard stuff? J-spec metric? Socket cap screws?

I just called Automotive Fasteners and sent them a file with the following items. Hopefully hear back from them soon

I think specialty was the wrong word to use, I just meant I didn't think I could run to Lowes and get all these. Here is what the parts list has that I will need:

5/16 - 18x3/4" HHCS G8 Zinc 8
5/16 - 18 Flange Nuts 40
5/16 - 18x3/4" Flat Head Phillips 15
5/16 - 18x1" Flat Head Phillips Zinc 17
3/8 - 16x3/4" G8 Zinc 4
3/8 Heavy Washer 11
3/8 - 24x1" HHCS G8 Zinc 10
3/8 - 24x1 1/4" HHCS G8 Zinc 1
3/8 - 24x3" HHCS 2
3/8 - 24 Flange Nuts 11
3/8 - 16 Flange Nuts 2
1/2 - 13x2 1/2" S/S SHCS 2
1/2 - 13 Flange Nuts 2
1/2 - Flat Washer 2
12mm x 1.75 x 40mm Flat Head Allen 6

Wow. Normal TJ skid uses 6 bolts (1/2") and 4 nuts (1/4"ish) and thats it.

Go to McMaster Carr, pick the quantities that will match your needs, then tally up the total. The cost saving in gas alone, from running place to place, will probably cover the shipping. As the big kitty (Food Lion) says, "that's just my 2 cents".

tractor supply by the pound will be the cheapest!!!! will have all but the metric size.....

Thanks guys, Automotive has everything and I am going to go pick it up later today.

This is their flat belly under armor system, I smashed my oil pan and beat on the transmission housing last time out, so this will hopefully protect more of the underside.

TSC won't have a lot of the gr. 8 Phillips stuff or any of the flanged nuts in the bins, and if you have to pick them out of the drawers, the price jump is exponential! They do have metric hardware now, though. Not huge quantities, but a decent selection. Terrible prices. I went looking for 12x1.5 hardware and it was about $1.50/bolt. The same bolt in a 1.25 pitch was almost 3x as much!

Lanier's Hardware on Main St in Lexington will have all that in stock. I haven't been disappointed shopping there yet.

Went to Automotive and they had everything in stock and the guys there were great to work with

I'm always open to learning new players in the game, though.
Piedmont fasteners off Wendover behind the Honda dealership. Also Fastener Supply up off Hwy 29 in North Greensboro.

Piedmont is higher quality US made, while Fastener Supply is cheaper worldwide made inventory.

But not sure if they deal in onesie twosie orders. I get all my fasteners from those two for work. 50-100 pieces usually minimum that I'm ordering, but you can get 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 for pennies a piece vs dollars a piece at Lowes and such.
