I am wanting to get the heads on my 360 port and polished. Where is a good place to get that done around the triad area?

I was pricing out R/T heads but they are UBER $$ compared to just a p/p job. Thanks for any advice.

rotating dynamics off of murray rd in winston. he doesnt do it but he was telling me he knew a guy that was getting good at it on a flow bench. u could call and ask.

Ya beat me to it! The only thing Drew at Rotating has done for me so far is turned a flywheel, but I've seen his shop and his work, and I like it. I feel like I could recommend him to anybody, and trust his suggestions too. Call him at 924-5354.

I've used Jamie's on Bartlett St, off of Edwardia behind Country Barbecue on Wendover, and the Car Quest machine shop on west Market St. I was pleased with both shops. The guy at Car Quest is real good about letting you watch which I like.

you won't get much from those heads. r/t's are the way to go, but i understand the cost issue.

at least spring for a cam and some 1.7 rockers.

depends on how much you're paying. it's probably not even worth it. personally, i would just put the money torwards and save for the r/t or other aftermarket threads.

do some hunting around on the dodge boards, they show up used at good prices from time to time.

Thee guys are the *classic* head shop, walk in ther's liek 15 heads sittin garound, the ever-present machine oil smell... they mill/rebuild heads for the racers at Bowman Gray.
*not the fastest guys in getting the job turned around* but clearly old hats at it. They can tell you what is/isn't worth it on yours.

There is a guy I worked with in greensboro who just opened up his own shop, he has a flow bench and he has done hundreds of heads. He does mostly ford stuff, but he can do any type of heads, he did alot of head porting for drag racers years ago when he owned his own machine shop, if you are still looking, let me know, I'll give you his number and location.

My friend's next door neighbor sent the BBC out of his 70 Camaro to them to build. It spun a bearing not once, but TWICE before it was even broken in, and he drives like an old lady! After that, it went to Drew at Rotating Dynamics. No problems since. I won't risk it with Triple J, I'll just send my junk to Drew.
