where to get rotors turned in the Triad

140kmiles on my XJ, getting ready to do the second set of pads here. I figure I should get the rotors turned this time. Does anyone know of a good place in GSO/HighPoint, close to the airport where I can get this done? Thanks

exaclty, I had the guy at Guilford College AutoZone fawk one of mine up a few years back.

It's usually about the same cost to buy a new set, isn't it?

Sometimes... it is the same or slightly cheaper just to get new ones. Call a nearby automotive machine shop or call NAPA.

as I recall it was about $30/rotor for new ones. Find a brake shop near by, that'd be the best/safest bet on having them turned.

NAPA sells rotors for $50 a side. I asked if they knew anyone, they said Piedmont Truck and Tire (I knew about them, but they were a little pricey). So I said screwit, dropped them off at Piedmont, alreday have them back, $39 poorer.

The Car Quest machine shop on corner of W. Market and Edwardia is where I have gotten them done in the past.
