Where's the mud? (places)

Had a great time at Kerley's recently with my son - both of us love the mud, even though my buggy is built for rocks. Got me thinking though - I don't know of any places to mud-wheel. I don't mean a standard mud pit competition, but rather land with trails that are mud-oriented (like Kerley's).

How about it? Are there any out there in North Carolina?

Thanks,
Stewart

Always mud events going on in here: http://www.nc4x4.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=72

Where to go wheeling: http://www.nc4x4.com/where-to-go-wheeling/

Also look up 4x4Cross on facebook. He's always posting up mud events and many of them are open to the public.

Also...if you like a good wheeling trip with all kinds of stuff to traverse..then Royal Blue OHV in TN has it all..rocks,hills, and lots of mud holes along the way.

Take a weekend trip to Windrock. It's in Oliver Springs, TN. There is enough there to keep you busy for days. I think it's 77,000 acres. Been there twice and maybe seen only half of it. Check out the RattleRock Trail. Anything under 35's and open diffs not apply to this trail.

We frequent a place up in shelby called lake houser. We are actually goin up there this weekend. Its not real big, but fun and i think its like 10 bucks. It is more oriented towards atv's but trucks and stuff go to. Not real packed either. There is some good size mud holes out there. Decent amount of trails. Its no uwharrie, but it does for an in between place to wheel. If you want to go give me a call. 704 675 1980. We will be there saturday.

hazzard countys kinda fun. got a mud pit noones made it thru.

Thanks for all the suggestions - I'll give them a try. And thanks for the invite this weekend - we're already booked to camp at Uwharrie with 4x4Everyone though. Have a great trip.
