I say don't buy cars from dealers, you always get the shaft, no offense to anyone on here who is a dealer, but thats just the way it is.

Your vehicle choices blow cock. Go back and pick out something else.

I'd say get a small, efficient car. I've been running with those for the last 5 years and its been great.

A manual Honda Accord would be tight.

You can find a nice 96-99 accord for that much on CL or other places. I agree, stay away from dealers. Find someone that's had it since new with 120K on it. Those things ride nice and will run forever! Great gas mileage too!

why would i get an accord when i could get a civic for the same price? and civics have way more aftermarket stuff? and wither way im gonna have to borrow money i dont just have 4k laying around because if i did i would have already had a cummins

If you want to rice one out, you are correct. If you are comparing MPG, they are about the same with a 4cly. and the accord is a much better hwy. car. Much better chance at getting a nice accord than civic as most are modified and beat on. Just my .02

Lol, if you are wanting a honda for performance, definatly need to get you to meet my buddy who has the tegs, he runs a performance shop. His current ride is a 94 Supra w/ T72 turbo, other partner has a turbo MX3 v6, they are building 2 240s right now, one of which should be over 750 HP when complete. One of the guys always up there (Owner of the XJ I have posted) has a GSR swapped Civic coupe, list goes on man. Im not an import guy but they all are lol.

not really for proformance but i would like something that if i just randomly catch the import bug i can do something to and i know integras and civics are the ones, i know a guy that has a b16 hatch and one guy that had a sohc jdm that could keep up with it till he totaled it

oh yea also know a kid that had a s2000 and sold it because he thought it was slow. yea he was 17 at the time and he could build hondas like no one i've ever seen

Have a few friends with b16 hatches, I have been unable to get in touch with Jon since yesterday though, so honestly I got no idea whats up. I will try again later tonight.

buddy of mine has a 98 or 99 honda civic EX, I think its right around 150k miles...

Hes had it since high school, and really hasn't had to do much to it. Seems pretty reliable. Gas mileage is really good on it. Its actually a fun little car to drive, its the 5 speed.

yea if i ever need a car that i can't pronounce its name ill be sure to contact you. until then ill take my chances
Lol Nice

I have a feeling Jon crushed his phone or something, very abnormal for me to not be able to get a hold of him for more than an hour or 2. If I hear anything I will let you know though.

Ill get all the info on both tegs and any other honda/acuras

One thing to think about.... the Truck has 180k on it. Somewhere along the line you can expect to replace some parts. Parts for the Cummins are probably going to be much more expensive than for the car which only has 54k.

Another thing on the truck, everything on those trucks are heavy duty!! This may mean buying some heavy duty tools you don't own or paying extra for someone else to repair.

Just depends on what you need the vehicle for.

the tool thing doesn't bother me since im gonna have to buy them anyways (school to be diesel mechanic) i know that parts are more expensive but your also talking about a truck that usually can go 3000k> without any real repairs like replacing a head or having to rebuild something in the bottom end, and its not an auto so no ripping out trannys all the time if i want to add power
