Beer can hydrate you if your stranded in the desert or on a raft in the ocean. Bacon will only attract Buzzards or Sharks to your desperation while you smile and chew!

Time-wise, I can sit down and enjoy several beers over the course of hours. Bacon is yummy, but anybody that munches on it that long might have a problem.

But then... you can have bacon any time of day and still go to work afterwards.
 
Actually, I think the proof is in the commodities market.

People often use beer as a motivator or commodity.
"Hey, come help me change this clutch, I'll provide the beer."
"Old washing machine available, will trade for beer."
"Will work for beer".

don't really have that with bacon.

Hence, beer must be better...

Asking me to pick between bacon and beer is like asking me to pick which arm to keep, whih child to keep, or which axle should pull on a buggy. The answer my friend is that both are fantastic but a world without either of these would be a lsser world for all.
 
The thought for this poll came to me last night while I was drinking beer and welding. The sound of cooking bacon made me hungry, so I took another sip of beer and thought which one is better.
