I'd be curious to know if anyone has used the Centech harness. It seems to get good reviews online; just not as well known...?

I just looked in it someone has used it it was on Jeep form I won’t be using it though because they said the fuse panel dose not mount to firewall like factory it’s free standing said do you can mount where ever you want

I’ve used Centec in the past. Was really impressed with them. The wire was nicely armored and each wire was labeled the entire length of the wire, not just tags on the end. So that made chasing wires later a breeze.

However, that was 15 years ago, the painless may have caught up and done that as well but I don’t think they did as I don’t see that type of labeling on my painless wires in my buggy which was bought 2 years ago.

In a nutshell, 15 years ago I’d prefer Centec over Painless. Not sure how they compare today, though.

I used the Centec harness on a FSJ. Was a direct replacement for the factory harness and I believe it mounted in the factory location. I’d double check because the one I used mounted in factory location.

I just ordered the painless 10150 like a hour ago so gonna do that one I guess

I used the Centech complete harness in an old Bronco (77). The harness was very well designed using high quality wiring and fuses. I'm getting ready to order one for my 82 CJ7.

Installation wasn't difficult, but the pictures in the instructions left a lot to be desired.

Buy Centech with confidence.
