Hey guys in a few weeks I'm lifting my F-350 and need to put done running boards on it so the wife can still get in and out of it!

I'm looking for some that hang a little lower so its not so high of a step for her to get in and out of it. What are some suggestions?

While there are a few suggestions I could make, most of them are on bumper stickers...

Best option would be to get them custom made to your needs and your wife's jumping abilities.

Also, you will probably want to get a grab bar mounted somewhere for her to hold on to as well.

Typically my suggestion would be skip getting "running boards" and instead have real rocker panel guards made up that can double as a step... but an F350... I'm guessing this is a not a serious wheeler...

Do agree w/ getting something nice and set for your wife's height and not just a generic set if possible.

Thats funny right there. But on the other hand I have an 8 inch lift with 37s on my f250 and still have the factory steps. Yeah it sucks sometimes but my wife who is like 5'3" can get in and out with minimal trouble. I talked with Chris at mars fab about making a new set just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I personally think running boards look like complete :poop:.

My wife is 5'11" though, so she doesn't have trouble climbing into tall trucks, lol.

honestly man I hate running boards!! how set are you on keeping this wife??

That's pretty funny but I gotta keep this one. He'll these days it's cheaper to keep them anyways.

I don't really want running boards but if it'll shut the wife up ill do it.. I mean keep her happy! I like a the clean look, so the retractable steps are a good possibility. My wife's 5'7 so I doubt she'll have much of a problem anyways but she's making a big deal about it.

I took my factory steps of bc I thought they looked like crap so I should at least get something. You have any pics of your truck I could show her for reference?
