Which trans?

I've got a 2003 5.3. Need a 4x4 4l60e to match up with the electronics. I know there's a ton of 4l60s out there but I'm wanting one that is a closest match possible. What year range should I look for or should I play it safe and just find an 03 model?

I stick with 99-06. It really doesn't matter as long as the plugs match. You can change the operating system to work for whatever you need it to if you have access to something like HP Tuners.
