Most of the members here live in the land of the left hand turning race cars. I'm looking for someone to build a set of long tubes for my chassis.

I have tried 2 sets of production shorty style LS exhaust, but nothing will clear. I really want long tubes, so I'm going to go ahead and get them now.

You can you recommend? Appreciate it.

I've never tried to build any myself and got very lucky on mine and even had to use two slightly different headers on my jeep. Before you get in to deep, check eBay for some. I paid a little over $100 for two different sets from a genetic vendor on there honestly expecting them to be subpar. Actually the quality surprised me. All stainless waterjetted and tig welded. There's so many configurations in existence for LS swaps in anything imaginable that there's bound to be a set that'll work.
Also, is it motor mount clearance issue? For me it has come down to a few minutes of grinding or even refabbing mounts to make a set work as opposed to waiting days on an order.

Last time I talked to Kooks, they wanted 5-7 days with the vehicle and 2500 bucks to build a custom set. I like their stuff, but not that damn much.

I don't know of anyone down your way. Another option besides the Mooresville area shops is David Farlow at BoostFab just north of Durham, NC. Smaller shop but he turns out some amazing work.

Yep, Farlow does some good work.

It's a Jimmy 4x4 chassis so it's built according. I put in a 4l80 I stead of a 400 which is typically what is used so that made for an issue with the hero transfer case.

I could go to summit racing and buy every header know and spend a few hours in the parking lot but I wanted long tubes anyway.
