I need some tube doors for my H3.

It should be about as simple of a project as they come, I am just not a welder nor do I have a tube bender.

Looking for something like this:

Or this:

I need a pair for the front and a pair for the rear. The latches do not have to be fancy. I may want the doors skinned.

Shoot me some prices via PM. It doesn't matter to me if you are a shop, vendor, or just a guy who has decent welding skills.

I'm trying to decide if it's worth paying someone to do it or to start buying the equipment myself.

The doors are going on this:

Gotta say, I like the look of the rounded-edge sq tube for this, esp for that body.

Yeah but a FAR greater number of people possess the tools necessary to bend round tube, most likely. Also, from my limited experience bending square tube with a manual bender, it always wanted to kink really badly(but that was small tube 1" square)

Each of the examples I posted are just three pieces of round tube- I'm just trying to keep it simple.

I appreciate the suggestions though!

You know - you don't HAVE to do it all as bends.
You CAN just weld the seems/edges, it's much easier to do so on flat stock than round, then grind the welds on the outside so it looks like all one flat piece...

Yeah you could miter and weld the corners, but then you end up with doors that look like they were made by someone who mitered and welded the corners, LOL.

I would love to help you out with this, but I would say the radius on my bender die and tube size would likely be too large for that style of door.

To answer your question, PJ at M and M Offroad does killer work. Might be a little drive for you but well worth it call him. or pm for his number.

Wow! A lot of great suggestions. I'll have to pick up the phone and try some of these guys out.
