it is a jig it will be a flat piece of 1/4 steel 8"x8" with a two 4x4 pieces on top of it at 90° in the middle. where the two 4x4 piece meet the 8x8 can't have weld on the outside edges.

I can make it

it would be easy to make, but being a jig, how square does the 4x4 have to be? Is it somehthing easy to do with a framing square or is a machinest square required or how about building it and then tru-ing it up on a CNC Milling machine for accuracy???

well i was going for perfectly square. i'm starting to think that this might be a bit more expensive that i have originally thought. and i would also like it to be perfectly square in the vertical plane as well.

How perfect you want it, is it the inside or outside edge you wanting right? You could cheap out and cut a 4" section of 4" angle and weld it on the flat plate.

If you want it that close then you will need a mill to true it up and at one thousanth, thats pushing it for many older machines or for inexperienced operators.

If you truely need the tolerance that close, feel free to PM me and we can talk more.

i have a shop with the right tools in angier nc i do gunsmithing but ill do alittle general machine work now and then before u im me i need a couple details like how accurate does it have to be are u providing the materials and how fast do u need it and what do u expect it to cost/are willing to spend
