Old pump would only put out 25 psi. Replaced the pump, same issue. Pulled the pipe out of the casing and found the venturi was broken. Replaced the pipe, venturi, and foot valve. Now I can't get any water out of it via the pump and there are no leaks. A hand pump will pull water, even raising and lowering the pipe by hand will lift water.
Pump is a Pentair Flotec FP4222 jet assist. 2" pvc well casing, 1" draft pipe (had 1.25" originally). Water table is 20', foot valve is at 35'.
An old school guy came today and he can't figure it out either. I can't see anything wrong with the pump after disassembling it. Rotation is correct, seals are good, guy confirmed I had it plumbed to the well head correctly. Well head o-ring is new also.
I'm at a loss. Pumps are my forte with drafting water and all, but this one has me stumped. If you're free to talk on the phone, pm me with your number and when you're free. I've been without water a week now. Finally tapped into the neighbor's with a garden hose for the time being.
Thanks!
