As I have said in the past, I am up for riding about every other weekend. I am off the weekend of the 29th, 30th and 31st of this month. Where are ya going and and would you mind a tag along Heep?

I've been in the driver's seat making vroom vroom noises and rowing all the various levers within reach like crazy... Super hardcore.

Beyond web-wheeling...there's garage wheeling.

I totally understand what you're going through Chip. Before long you'll be like me and have your wknds. planned a year in advance, with only 2 a month its very easy to do. Definetly has its ups and downs.

Let's see. I might go this weekend, or I might go the next. I might go both. I might go every weekend until I go to Colorado the 1st of July for two weeks or I might just go a couple of times and wait until I get to Colorado to go a lot. It's sooo hard being retired :)

Chip, some of us from the NCKrawlers are going to UNF that weekend.I'm running my stock Willys along with a good mix of different rigs.Goin up friday night and coming back on tuesday.Staying at arrowhead also.Come on and ride with us. You can give us readywelder lessons since there will be 2 units there.

mt. city

i might tag along to mt. city. besides my truck is a toyota in all.

I have been wanting to get out there for the last two summers to do the All4FunRun and ride some of the ridgelines. The wife is from out there and her dad lives out there too. We had it all lined up for this summer and then my company went and bought the home care division of a another health system and I will be busy transitioning their systems instead.

Have fun John!

Hmmm...Might try to round up the crew for a Callalantee trip. Wanted to get back there soon anyway! Only a couple of our group made the CTB outing, but we gave the rest of em a great report! LOL!

And I have the season pass to URE, so that works too!

Also wanted to try out Tellico this summer before our annual fall URE trip. (Plenty of time to repair the ol Yeller Jeep!)

So once the axle gets here this week, Im ready to go again!:driver:

Wow, you guys make it difficult.
Hmm ride URE where I usually only go once a year, with some folks I have not wheeled with, but little in the way of challenge there
or, Go to Callalantee, where I have been many times and still yet don't know the trails, have not got to get on pull cable(if that's the one beside little Tellico) and look forward to getting on "easyout"
And the mention of Tellico always gets me drooling for seat time. I love that place, and it's one of the few trail systems I know all of and could easily even be a guide to newbies.

ol"Jeeps, ya might wanna think moly on the axles, and at the very least bring some extra ones with you. Tellico is a great place to break stuff. Might even wanna think about upgrading too.

Josh, that's exactly what I am attempting to do. Plan out the rest of the year. You need to get your weekends changed, so we will be able to wheel together

I have done Tellico in the winter, spring and fall, never in the summer. I have seen wet, snow/ice and frost, but never in the summer when it's hot

I have been to URE in the late summer, and never enjoyed it wet, always a dust bowl.

I have a trip to Harland planed for August
Tellico in October( not saying another one couldn't be squeezed in!)
Possibly PA in September( IF I ever get conformation an some Dates hint hint hint)
As of now, thats what I have planned.

Axles would be good except not avail for a two piece 44. So I would have to buy a 30 spline locker at the same time as buying the axles. Not sure I wanna spend that kinda money on this old 44 Rear. Thinking, instead, of a complete axle change...14 Bolt, D60, or even tryin to build a 44 floater, if I do anything with this Jeep

Ill bet URE is bad in summer. A real dust bowl! Our fall trip is usually in November and we usually catch rain. (Wheelin at night, in the pourin down rain. Thats a whole different URE!!)

Will hollar around at the group here. (Been pushin em for a Callalantee outing soon anyway!) See if and what they might like to do!

I would like to hit Callalantee June 30, July 1 &2. I have some updates to the maps that I have to get done so I can post the latest maps. I have not been up there since Jan.

Talked to the gang...(6 of us)...lookin over their work and home schedules to see when we can all get together for the next trip.
Axle got here today! Prob install tomorrow night.:burnout:
Oh...and yes...I carry spares!:D
