i am gettin ready to do my next build now that the insurance company has sent me the money from my accident and i am tryin to decide which coils to buy for the long arm lift i am doing. i purchased the clayton's hard arm kit and i want to go with the 5.5" coils but i am debating between rubicon express and rock krawler. just wanted to see some input on this subject to help me make up my mind.

RE coils will be taller and firmer than the RK ones. The RK ones will also sag a good bit from what I have seen from them in the past.

well i guess it will be worth spending the extra money then to get the RE coils. oh i guess when i come down to bring you the axles to be regeared i will also be picking up one of those stock steering boxes from you that we talked about. also send me a pm on a price for a set of 5.5" RE coils for the tj.

what size tires are you gonna run?

The RE 5.5" coils give a lot of lift...

I could fit 36" Iroks on my TJ when I had RE 4.5" springs and a 1" BL...with full flares and no rubbing...

i am only gonna run 35's for right now, still my dd.

I'd highly suggest their 4.5" coils, then...especially since you have a BL already...

it wouldn't be surprising to get 7" when first installed with the RE 5.5" springs...

4.5 RE coils with 1" BL and 35s. Also have the Clayton arms. No fender trimming.

i have two friends that run his stuff on their cherokees and i have to say that it holds up to the abuse they put their rigs through but until he does somethin different with the joints on the control arms and changes the spring rates of his coils i will not be buying anytime soon. i do have to say though that his new high clearance control arms are pretty sweet.
