WE (us enthusists on this board) might. But we are the VAST minority of potential sales in the US.

Plus my bet is it dosn't pass the latest standards for crash safety, fuel efficiency, etc.

Toyota has about 5 SUVs on the market here that pass safety and emission standards.

That bad boy would lower their average emission standards that automakers have to abide by. And I doubt it has side curtain airbags and a collision avoidance system.

Besides why buy that when you'll need a Jeep to get it unstuck anyway :flipoff:
 
I would buy one in a heartbeat. I tried to ship one back from downrange. Not a new one but an older one. They did not go for it. Had to try though. Even tried to just bring back a diesel engine and that did not fly.
 
A friend of mine is in Africa now, he's been sending pictures of all kinds of cool cars there. They have a new Trailblazer that is really nice and a new Ranger. Granted, they are still IFS but way cooler than a Traverse or Escape.

Atleast this is coming.

Ford will be importing the Troller T4s as the Ford TR-X soon. but due to a bunch of regulations, it wont be as bad ass as the original shown below.

ah....

that was a misundertanding on my part. pretty much read past everything that said "sao paulo" release. i had read an article "thought" that said it would be coming. maybe it said 'should be"

Look at the pics in the link below. notice that gone is the removable top. a step closer to passing NHTSA standards in the U.S.
