Driving in the parking lot at Home Depot today, straight down the lane like a normal person would. Stopped because a guy was pulling into a space in front of me.

BOOM.

Guy backed out of his space right into the side of my car. Like DEAD t-boned into the side. How the hell do you not see a car behind you? Granted it is a little car (2003 WRX), but seriously?

Caved in the front door and dinged the rear one. Going to definitely need a new front door. My son was in the back seat, glad the windows didn't break.

The guy was with his family and felt really bad, still sucks that it happened.

I have owned a lot of heaps of crap in my day. I've had three cars get hit, all three of them were my nice cars. Never once was my heap hit. I've only owned this car for like 6 months now too. :(

That's how it works. Just like how you only lose expensive sun glasses.

Kind of hard to see in this picture, but the door is crushed in. I'm betting it needs a new door, the body line is pushed in and it went all the way to the impact bar.

I've never had anything that extreme (knock on wood)...but that's the way it seems to happen. I drive the beaters around and nothing. I drive the nice rigs around and I can't seem to go anywhere without a new scratch or door ding.

Reminds me of a time when I was a little kid. My brother came home TICKED OFF (he is normally the most even-keeled person ever). Someone had back into his bright red 71 Mustang Mach 1 while he was waiting for a parking spot. He watched the guy backing into it and even hit the horn several times, but the dude was oblivious. I mean how in the world do you miss a fire engine red 20 foot long sports car?!?!?!?

He was so mad he came home and kicked the dog. Poor dog never saw it coming. Car was never fixed right by the shop and always had problems ever since. He ended up selling it just before I turned 16 just so I wouldn't get any ideas about buying it from him.

93 mercedes here. I want to upgrade but the damn thing keeps going and parts falling off. Waiting for someone to do her in, maybe a trip to home depot is in the future :D

I used to drive an old beater 2wd toyota truck. At Walmart, I'd leave the windows down and keys in the ignition hoping someone would steal it. I was disappointed everytime I came out and seen it still sitting in the same spot.........

People cant get out of my way fast enough... even the idiots run from the guy who willingly damages his own vehicle.

I bought a brand new Ranger back in '01. I was excited because it was my first brand new vehicle. I wrecked it 3 times, none was my fault and it got hit again just before I got rid of it. Last brand new vehicle I bought.

i have several vehicles but my fave is a '94 two door soft top geo tracker (aka cracker tracker) keys always in her most valuable part is the gas in it haha man i will park that thing anywhere never worry bout it

I actually had an incedent in a Lowes parkinglot a few years ago. I was slowly backing out beside a van and a guy sideswiped my tube bumper on my Toyota. I was upset because the guy was hauling ass in the crowded parkinglot. He layed on the horn just before he hit me and did'nt stop until he was 15' past my truck! I told the cop he was going way to fast and his skidmarks proved, it but I still got a ticket. At least you were'nt driving that Sweeeeet Firebird Blaze!!
